Ross Barkley is enjoying a loan spell at Aston Villa, but his actions earlier today have left his manager rather unhappy.
The exile Chelsea star started for Villa as they beat Arsenal 1-0 at home thanks to Ollie Watkins’ opener in just two minutes, the Midlands club continue their excellent start to the season.
Barkley performed another decent display but was substituted 12 minutes before the end by Jacob Ramsey entering in his place with Villa looking to see the final moments.
But Barkley was unhappy with his boss Dean Smith’s decision, kicking a water bottle as he left the pitch in what appeared to be a tantrum after being taken out.
The moment was a disappointing flashpoint on an otherwise brilliant afternoon for Villa and Smith was not happy with this midfielder for his reaction.
TV cameras caught a deep gaze from Smith to Barkley, showing clear anger at the incident.
However, the former Everton star will likely be forgiven given her fine form since joining Villa on loan, racking up three goals and one assist so far during her loan spell.
It emerged this week that Villa may attempt to sign a permanent deal with Barkley with reports claiming Chelsea could be open for a sale, but not at a discounted price.
