The school board of Seymour Community School Corp. will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Seymour Central Service Center, 1420 Corporate Way.

The agenda includes the Consent Agenda, Communications and Recognition, Donations and Grants, and an update on school construction projects. The 2023 budget will also be discussed.

Also on the agenda are the following actions: meal prices 2022-23, Stacey Townsend; Driver’s Handbook 2022-23, Tim Fosbrink; recommendation to approve fuel offers from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, Tim Fosbrink; School Book Rental Rates 2022-23, Steve Nauman; Classified Employee Handbook 2022-23, Schedule and Salary Grids, Nauman; recommendation to approve the purchase of additional furniture for agricultural classrooms, Nauman; and investment projects, Talmadge Reasoner.

The meeting is open to the public and the press.

At 6:30 p.m., the board will meet in executive session to discuss school safety and security measures, receive briefings on who the governing body has jurisdiction over, and discuss strategy regarding one of following: either pending or has been specifically threatened in writing.
