Home prices have risen dramatically this year, making it harder for those looking to buy their first home. So people are still praising. But San Antonio rents don’t necessarily go down. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, finding an apartment in San Antonio can be quite an experience. Taking inspiration from our sister post SFGate in San Francisco, MySA takes a look at local properties showcasing the best, the worst, and everything in between here in Alamo City. Let’s guess the rent.

Alright all of you. Merry Christmas. This week we’re driving further north from luxury San Antonio to this three bedroom lakefront home in Canyon Lake. The 1,008-square-foot lake house just outside of Startzville is not only close to Canyon Lake, but also next to a Bare Bull BBQ and Gennaro’s Trattoria, which are popular on-site. Google.

We’re going to take a look inside, but let’s be honest, it will be hard to get out of that porch.

Here we have the living room, which seems to be overlooked by the dining room. It’s pretty basic. The Craigslist post says the house is “well maintained”.

Here is a bedroom with a fairly large window. The lake house has a fresh coat of paint all over and vinyl flooring.

This bedroom is much smaller than the other. It’s not clear from the photos, but it could be a glimpse of the studio room downstairs.

But then again, you probably don’t rent this place to stay indoors when there is a boat launch not far from the property.

There is a covered parking lot under the lake house with a cement floor. Many trees also surround the property. The post says cats are allowed, but dogs are on a case-by-case basis as there is no fence around the yard.

But if you have a dog who doesn’t tend to run away, he’ll be right at home on that cozy porch that surrounds the lake house. Imagine spending your mornings and evenings in this little corner.

So how much will this lake getaway cost you? You will pay $ 1,300 per month plus a down payment of $ 1,300. The lake house will be available in March 2022, but the move could be earlier, according to the publication.

The average rent for a three-bedroom in the neighborhood is $ 1,250 per month, according to Zumper.
