NEW YORK, August 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Deloitte today announced that John Marcante, former Global Chief Information Officer and Managing Director of Vanguard, has been appointed Independent Senior Advisor, US CIO Program, Deloitte LLP, as “CIO-in-Residence”. In this role, Marcante will serve as an independent strategic advisor to clients, practitioners and senior management to provide strategic advice and insight in the areas of technology and technology leadership.

Marcante’s responsibilities will be wide-ranging, including associate dean and speaker at Deloitte’s Next Generation CIO Academies, mentor and coach to select client leaders across industries, advisor to senior management, facilitator for CIO program transition and speaker for CIO program internal strategy sessions.
