waterway, as Ol’ Man River is home to a number of dining and
entertainment attractions. Cruise Big Muddy aboard the Tom Sawyer
or Becky Thatcher riverboat, then grab lunch or dinner onboard the
Robert E. Lee. Feeling lucky? Then try your luck at the President
Casino gaming boat at the foot of Laclede’s Landing.
Edward
Jones Dome and America’s Center
The 67,000-seat Dome is most notably the home turf of the
NFL’s St. Louis Rams, but the facility also hosts concerts,
special events, and consumer shows like the annual boat, RV, car,
and home and garden shows. America’s Center, St. Louis’
state of the art convention complex, is adjacent to the Edward Jones
Dome, and features more than 500,000 square feet of meeting and
event space, as well as a theater, ballrooms, and a visitor information
center.
Gateway
Arch/Old Courthouse
Just a stone’s throw from The Landing is the Jefferson Expansion
Memorial, more commonly known as the Gateway Arch grounds. In addition
to the 630-foot tall silver gleaming Arch, the National Park features
the beautiful and historic Old Courthouse, site of the Dred Scott
slavery trials. The Old Courthouse offers a variety of changing
exhibits that help illustrate St. Louis’ rich history.
Busch
Stadium
Cornerstone of "Baseball Heaven," Busch Stadium
is where the St. Louis Cardinals take on their National League foes
in their quest for yet another World Series championship. Former
Cardinals’ slugger Mark McGwire referred to St. Louis as "baseball
heaven" for its knowledgeable fans and St. Louis’ love
of the game.
